I guess backup servers are not used by your company, due to cost(its more for critial apliactions and databases)

So your right, cannot change anything on servers as long they are down.
Power outage sucks
But im more supriced that the hosting company dont have alternative power plan.
I assume thats a cost and package issue

Where i work, our company have to pay 1000BP pr 10 min. tp our customers
Its have critical databases, if its down, hell its loose.
Our customers have to stop their activities, and thats its more expencive
Its in oil n gas sector

@Audie, The ticket system was one of the system brought online last night. But the automated responses did not fire off, my guess is because the system was down for a while and got backed up.

We are sorting through the tickets as fast as we can.
